Arguments for dualism:

I can conceive of myself existing and no bodies existing.

Anything conceivable is possible.

So it is possible that I exist and no bodies exist.

If I am essentially a body then it is not possible that I exist and no bodies exist.

so I am not essentially a body

If I am a body, then I am essentially a body.

So, I am not a body.
