Homework Assignments

Homework 1: Due Monday April 7 by 9am (submit electronically to both Renee and to me.)

Exams:

Exam 1a: Friday April 11. Descartes Review Questions

Exam 1b: Friday April 18.

Exam 1c: Submit this exam electronically (via e-mail) to Renee and to Ann.by 9am Sunday April 27.

Second Exam Submit this exam electronically (via e-mail) to Renee and to Ann by 9am Monday May 19.

Final Submit this exam electronically (via e-mail) to Renee and to Ann by 9am Monday June 9.

Points to Decimal Grade conversion (roughly): there are 250 possible exam points and 50 possible homework/quiz points ("daily work"). Out of the 300 possible points, 285 + =4.0; 240 = 3.0; 210 = 2.0; and 180 = 1.0--approximately. You cannot make-up any of the daily work, but there will be opportunities to earn more than 50 points for the homeworks and quizzes. Students who take advantage of all such opportunities can use the extra points as extra-credit points.
