This map represents news stories with the word "glitch" published across 33 years of archived news from January 1st, 1980 to July 1st, 2012, gathered from the LexisNexis, Factiva, and ProQuest news archives. Each line represents a set of articles that concern the same general problem (based on TF-IDF cosine similarity); the height of the line indicates the number of articles in the story, while the color represents the number of stories that were published in the year.
